What to Expect at Services

Are you considering a visit to Exit? We would love to meet you! Here are answers to a few of the more common questions.
Where is the church building located?
Exit Church of the Christian & Missionary Alliance is centrally-located at 2015 E Main St, Gas City, IN 46933.

What time does the service start?
We currently gather for one service on Sundays at 9:00 a.m., with children's ministry available during the service (see more below). Beginning July 5, 2026, we will transition to one service at 10:00 a.m. coffee/tea will be available starting at 9:30 a.m., and children may begin checking in at 9:45 a.m. While we no longer live stream our Sunday services, you can still access our latest sermons and teachings on the Media page of this website, through the Exit Church app, or on your favorite podcast platform (Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and more).
During the fall and spring months, we have historically offered two services to accommodate the return of our college students. As we prepare to move into our new building at 1015 E. Main St., Gas City, projected for August 2026, we plan to continue gathering as one church family in a single service at 10:00 a.m.

What about my kids (ages infant-6th graders)?
Children’s programming is offered during the 9am Sunday worship service for babies through sixth-graders. Children can be checked in 15-20 minutes before or at the start of service. To find the children's wing, head to the door in the back of the church that says "Kids Zone" above it. The children’s director (Grace Skinner) or one of our great volunteers will help you find your children’s rooms and sign them in. They will be welcomed in the baby nursery, the toddler nursery, the preschool class, or the elementary class. Children are able to participate in worship, prayer, and scripture through age-appropriate and engaging means within their classrooms. All classrooms are staffed with two screened volunteers. If you are a mother who needs to nurse during service, or your little one needs any extra support from you, we have a streaming room available in the children’s wing as well so that you don’t have to miss any of the service!

What about my Youth (ages 6th-12th)?
For students in grades 6th-12th, Youth Group meets on Wednesday nights from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at Exit Church (2015 E. Main St. Gas City). We gather to learn more about Jesus and how to better live our lives to honor and serve Him. We do this through an exegetical message driven by God’s Word, small groups, worship, prayer, and a game. Small group are divided by age and gender (middle school girls, high school girls, middle school guys, high school guys). Youth Group is led by Clint and Meredith Walker, alongside a team of screened volunteer leaders who are committed to walking alongside and investing in our students. If you'd like a more in-depth look at the commitments and expectations that our youth leaders agree to when serving in Youth Group, click here.

What should I wear?
We are a pretty casual church. There is no dress code.

What is the music style?
We desire to play music that engages the mind and heart, so we play a variety of songs, including modern songs and classic hymns. Our aim is to sing  gospel-centered songs that consistently remind us of the gospel--Jesus' life, death and resurrection in our place, for our sin.
